What we do
Everything a lawn needs, in one team.
Seasonal treatments, weed and moss control, scarification, aeration, overseeding, renovations, feeding, pest control and disease treatment — all across Dorking, Leatherhead and the Surrey Hills. We diagnose the real cause before we spend your money.

01
Seasonal Lawn Treatments
The heart of what we do is The Full-Year Lawn Programme™: four seasonal treatments timed to what your lawn needs at that point in the year. Spring Starter wakes the lawn up and tackles early weeds; Summer Guard feeds for colour and helps it cope with drought; Autumn Reset hardens the grass for winter; Winter Protect keeps it ticking over. Each visit is tailored to your lawn, not a national spec sheet.

02
Weed Control
Daisies, clover, plantains, dandelions, yarrow — we treat the weeds that spread through a lawn and crowd out the grass, using selective, professionally applied products that kill the weed without harming the turf. Because we’re fully qualified in the safe use of pesticides and spraying equipment, we can use treatments that simply aren’t available over the counter.

03
Moss Control & Treatment
Moss is the number-one problem we’re called out for around the Surrey Hills, and it’s a symptom as much as a cause — it thrives on damp, shade, compaction and poor feeding. We treat the moss so it blackens and dies, then scarify it out and put right the conditions that let it in, so it doesn’t simply come straight back the following winter.

04
Scarification
Over time a lawn builds up a layer of dead grass, moss and thatch that stops water, air and nutrients getting to the roots. Scarification mechanically rakes it all out — it looks dramatic at first, but it’s the single biggest step in reviving a tired lawn. We follow up with overseeding and feed so the grass comes back thicker than before.

05
Aeration & Spiking
Years of mowing, foot traffic and clay-heavy Surrey soil leave a lawn compacted — which is why it puddles, dries out and grows moss. Aeration and spiking open up the soil, improving drainage and letting roots grow deeper. It’s one of the most underrated treatments there is, and it makes every other treatment work better.

06
Overseeding & Seeding
Thin, tired lawns are rescued by overseeding — working new, high-quality grass seed into the existing lawn to thicken it up, fill bare patches and gradually improve the grass varieties growing there. Combined with scarification and aeration, it’s how we take a lawn from patchy to lush over a season or two.

Lawn Renovations
When a lawn has been left to go, or ruined by building work, a drought or a previous aggressive treatment, it needs more than one visit — it needs a plan. A renovation combines scarification, aeration, overseeding, feeding and weed and moss control across the year to rebuild the lawn from the soil up. This is exactly the work our reviews describe: lawns restored to their former beauty.

08
Fertilisation & Feeding
A hungry lawn is a weak lawn — it thins out, loses colour and lets moss and weeds in. We feed with professional-grade fertilisers matched to the season and your grass type, so you get healthy colour and strong, even growth without the flush of soft, disease-prone growth that comes from over-feeding at the wrong time.

09
Lawn Pest Control
Some of the worst lawn damage comes from below the surface. Leatherjackets and chafer grubs eat grass roots and attract birds and badgers that tear the lawn up hunting them; ants and moles disturb the surface. We identify the pest and treat accordingly, then repair the damage they’ve left behind.

Lawn Disease & Patch Treatment
Red thread, fungal disease and mould, dry and brown patches, and the tell-tale scorched rings of dog-wee burn all have different causes and different fixes. We diagnose what’s actually happening — often a mix of feeding, watering and soil issues — then treat the disease and apply wetting agents and feed to bring the affected areas back into line with the rest of the lawn.
